An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee HSEQ Advisor to join our national team. This role will operate out of Edwardstown, South Australia and will be responsible for supporting the HSEQ team Nationally along with the South Australian region in the field.

Reporting into the Group HSEQ Manager you will provide support to our wider HSEQ team to help deliver a compliant Integrated Management Systems. This role will see you both in the field and office, partnering closely with the HSEQ team to embed positive safety behaviours and build HSEQ awareness within field crews.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing HSEQ administration, support, training & education to all team members
  • Monitoring and maintaining oversight of Auditing and other Compliance checks
  • Preparing Toolbox talks and Incident Alerts
  • Regular and adhoc reporting
  • Participation in Major and Critical incidents review and resolutions
  • Liaising with external suppliers and regulators under direction from the HSEQ team.

What we need for you:

  • Unrestricted and current Drivers Licence (with a willingness to travel on a moderate basis within South Australia)
  • Formal qualifications in WHS (is highly desirable, or the desire to study. This role may suit a recent graduate)
  • Ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Strong ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power-point and Outlook).
